We will be officially unveiling the new consolidated business with our sister company Guardall on September 15 2008 at the ASIS Trade Show in Atlanta, Georgia.

We believe that by uniting VEREX Technology based in Mississauga, Canada and Guardall based in Scotland into one entity; we will become stronger and better equipped to provide for the needs of our customers. By merging sales, marketing, engineering, supply chain and customer service functions, the new business will be better aligned and organized to support the combined, global customer base, providing faster response and better products than was previously possible. Our mission is to become your complete solution for your security needs.

Product Highlights at ASIS 2008


We believe our truly integrated solution meets the security requirements of commercial, financial, institutional and educational market segments. Drop by our booth to witness these exciting solutions.

VeDVR


Guardall is expanding our VeDVR model range to include new higher storage capacity models in the VeDVR 2000 Series (with up to 8 TB of onboard hard drive storage). This will allow your customers to benefit from both high quality, high frame rate recordings and extended recording retention.



Guardall will also be previewing some of our ongoing developments related to our VeDVR series and Remote Station software. With a focus on advanced video analytics and IP camera support, we will continue to bring additional value to our VeDVR series. Some of the near term improvements include an improved Remote Station search and playback function featuring forensic analytics on recorded video, automated network archive storage, Network Time Protocol support, and much more.

Netvision IP


We will be demonstrating an IP video solution and showcasing our soon to be available Guardall IP cameras. We will now be able to offer a range of Guardall Netvision models offering analog, hybrid and IP only DVR solutions allowing us to deliver a video solution that protects your customer’s current investment in camera technology and opens the door to take advantage of IP based solutions.

HSC-IP High Security IP Monitoring Receiver


HSC-IP incorporates new encryption protocols utilizing 128-bit AES encryption and public key infrastructure to provide your customer a high security IP monitoring solution. This allows HSC-IP to be used for secure alarm reporting over the public internet. HSC-IP is listed to the highest level of UL and ULC.

Director V4.73 software

Director is the security management software used to manage Guardall’s integrated products such as MONITOR xL and NetVision. The new version supports our HSC IP Receiver and includes changes to our basic Prime License offering. This new version will also support communication over the public internet.

Product Obsolescence


Effective immediately, part 120-3630 is no longer available due to component unavailability from manufacturer. Please use 120-3633 Worldwide Modem (2400 baud) with 8 parallel outputs when ordering.

Effective immediately, MicroDVR product is no longer available.

Exciting Changes!


Effective Monday September 15th, 2008 we will be using the Guardall name in all communication mediums. Email addresses will be @guardall.com and everyone’s emails will be forwarded from their @verextech.com address. You will notice our Guardall branded website and newly created marketing collateral will be available. We will continue to communicate our changes, product updates and exciting news.
